Ed Sheeran gives his first acoustic performance of 'Shape of You'

Ed Sheeran can do no wrong!
Not long after he gave his first ever live performance of 'Castle on the Hill', Ed has given a live acoustic performance of his other hit single 'Shape of You'.
The singer two songs, which were only released last week, have already broken records on Spotify for the 'most streams in one day' - a record previously held by One Direction back in August 2015 with the song 'Drag Me Down'.
Ed's song 'Shape of You' was played 6,868,642 times after it was released in 24 hours, while 'Castle On The Hill' was listened to 6,168,395 times. That’s 13 million plays in one day, or roughly half-a-million listens each hour.
Our favourite Brit also confirmed he'll finally make an appearance on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke - so imagine all the hits they'll be singing together!
"I can confirm that at some point this year I will be doing a 'Carpool Karaoke,'" Ed Sheeran told radio station Capital FM.
"I know the whole thing is singing to your tune, but I think I’d feel a bit awkward singing to my song. I think I just wanna put on some Biggie ... I wanna put on something really awkward and dirty, like Biggie’s song 'Big Booty Hoes.'"
Whatever Ed sings, we can't wait!
