Jay-Jay has been reunited with her brother Poull after he was the victim of a random shooting in Auckland city last weekend.
Poull was one of three people who were shot outside a kebab shop in the early hours of Saturday morning on March 5. He was hospitalised and needed to have 22 shotgun pellets removed from his body, but Jay-Jay says he’s now back at home and “growing stronger every day”.
“I finally got to visit him when he got out of hospital on Saturday. He’s very weak but growing stronger every day (if that makes sense),” she captioned an Instagram snap of her planting a kiss on her bro’s cheek.
Jay-Jay also included a photo of Poull in hospital that showed just how seriously injured he was by the attack.
A GiveALittle page set up by Poull’s mates said that two pellets were removed from his lung, one from his stomach and one narrowly missed his heart by one centimetre.
An 18-year-old has since appeared in court and been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
