Our favourite spooky family is heading back to our screens this year.
Wednesday Addams is getting her own spinoff show starring Jenna Ortega and directed by Tim Burton.
Netflix has released the first trailer for the series, and it looks very dark and spooky, in true Addams Family style.
The trailer shows Wednesday older than when we last saw her in the 1990's show, as she heads to high school (with a couple bags of piranhas in hand...)
"The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy." reads the official synopsis.
"Where she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore."
While the Addams Family has been around since the 1930s, most of us today know and love them thanks to the 1990s film but if this teaser is anything to go by, 'Wednesday' might just top that!
The series is set to premiere on Netflix during the fourth quarter of 2022.
