Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, reveals he has some “very thick skin” when it comes to his wife calling him out in the lyrics of her hit songs.
Appearing on a recent episode of ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, Carey was played a clip from Pink’s interview with Kelly back in February this year.
In the clip, Pink explained she would share her music about her husband with him before releasing it to the world, and his reaction is hilariously humble.
“There’s one on the new album that was a hard day. I played it for him because it’s fair,” Pink said to Kelly.
“He should know what’s being said about him in the world. And he just started giggling, and he was like, ‘Well, you’re welcome.’”
After playing the old interview, Kelly asked Carey if his wife’s telling of the story was spot-on.
“Yeah, it’s very accurate,” he responded.
“You know, we’ve been together 21 years. I have very thick skin.”
Carey added: “I don’t know exactly what day she’s talking about specifically, but it’s probably just the temperature.”
The pair wed in 2006 and share their 11-year-old daughter, Willow, and six-year-old son, Jameson.
