Auckland based singer-songwriter Cecily has really stuck it to the modern trappings of ‘who she should be’ with her debut single ‘Thinking Bout Me’.
‘Thinking Bout Me’ represents the lone wolf, the introverted bedroom artist, those who find themselves alone on New Year’s Eve, and that is fine by Cecily.
The track was written during a time where Cecily was lonely enough to miss being with friends but not lonely enough to give up on herself.
‘Thinking Bout Me’ is described as an anthemic autobiographical rawness for all the brave and brilliant weirdos out there.
