"It's series ten of Married at First Sight, and it's a cracker!"
Married at First Sight Australia is back again, and relationship expert John Aitken is already warning us that there will be some bombshells from episode one.
While we've seen some crazy moments and destructive personalities in previous seasons of the show, John tells us that we won't be able to miss one particular husband that will cause "all sorts of reactions around New Zealand."
"He is unapologetic, he is an alpha, he has certain thoughts and positions on relationships and he's involved in a scandal right within the first several minutes of his wedding reception - and it is a must-watch!" he tells us.
"I don't think we've had quite such a lightning rod on the show before... he's not the only one this year but he's certainly a front-runner."
But we had to ask him - with all these seasons of Married at First Sight Australia and the wild relationships that have occurred - "why do you keep letting the crazy people on?"
It only makes John Aitken laugh. " [The couples] are all such big personalities now!"
"We're never quite sure what they're gonna do."
The first episode of Married at First Sight Australia airs Monday (Waitangi Day) at 7.30pm on Three, and will be available on Three Now.
