One of the best activities to do during the festive season is getting together with your friends or family, jumping in a car and going tiki-touring around your area to check out all the best Christmas light displays.
While Facebook is often the best treasure trove to discover light displays around you, there is also a handy website named Light Up Christmas that has a collection of addresses from around New Zealand that have great displays.
And, if you can't find an address in your area that you know has an epic set of Christmas lights, you can add to their ever-growing list.
You can also join local Facebook groups that are often dedicated to, or have great lists, of Christmas lights in your area.
